5 Must Plays Week 11

Posted On Wed, 14 Nov, 2007

Let's repeat the necessary warning: In no way are we advocating replacing your best players with anyone on the list. LT plays everyday. Moss plays everyday. Jessica Alba... everyday. Play the studs.

If you feel that we're two-thirds of the way through a bottle of Maker's, you're likely right. Doesn't mean we aren't correct.

Start

Ryan Grant - He's the starter in Green Bay. They play Carolina who has no offense and little defense. This should be a blowout with Grant carrying the pumpkin in the fourth quarter to run out the clock. Consider him an RB1.

Chester Taylor - Remember, Taylor was a solid back last season. He faces an Oakland team with less hope than you with a Super Model, or the girl next door, but that's for another day. Oakland has no run defense and little offense to keep the ball out of Taylor's hands. A good RB2 play.

Matt Schaub - Need help at QB and plucked Schaub off the wire then put him under center. He's facing a Saints team that couldn't stop your grandmother. And he has Andre Johnson back, ring the bells the Texans' passing game is back.

Amani Toomer - Not a bad spot if you need a WR2/3. Toomer's up against the vaunted Lions secondary. Stop laughing, ballplayers have feelings, too. There should be fireworks in this game and Toomer will get single coverage. Eli has to throw to someone other than the opponents some days, right. Right?

LJ Smith - Eagles play Dolphins, Smith played well against Redskins and Dolphins are no prizes at stopping TEs. Look for solid numbers and a TD is not out of the question.
